Meet
Jay Stevens
Jay, a science fiction fan since his early teens, watched the Apollo landings as a young man and spent much of the past fifty years wondering when we're going to get on with it, and get to the serious stuff.
Ceres and the asteroids, the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, the mysterious outer planets, will always captivate our imaginations. One day humans will get there. But Jay is most interested in what we can do right now, the first hundred years on Mars, Luna, and the Lagrange points, and the many tough decisions that colonists will have to make. What social mores and governance will emerge? And of course humans, being humans, will certainly engage in a bit of pushing and shoving!

There is so much to think about. And for Jay, so much to write and talk about. As Buzz Lightyear always said, “To infinity–and beyond!”

Jay is a retired resource professional, currently sharing his time between southern British Columbia and southern Mexico. When he isn't writing, he can usually be found walking in the bush with his camera or enjoying a glass of wine with his beautiful and long-suffering wife, Debbi.
